'Learning to Drive' Movie Giveaway

See the new film starring Patricia Clarkson and Ben Kingsley

The independent film Learning to Drive starts with an affair. Wendy (played by Patricia Clarkson) learns her husband is cheating with a younger woman. When he leaves Wendy, she also learns she’s not quite as independent as she thought. She must learn to drive.

That’s where Darwan (played by Ben Kingsley) enters the picture. He’s a driving instructor facing some marital issues of his own.

As the movie unfolds, learning to drive becomes a metaphor for having a successful relationship: be in the moment; pay attention to what’s around you so you’re not caught off guard; be careful with other people’s lives — and your own.

Clarkson and Kingsley, both experienced, engaging actors, show how unlikely friendships can develop when most needed, and they alone may be reason enough to see the film. It opens Aug. 21 in New York, N.Y., and Los Angeles, Calif., then rolls out in other markets across the country.
