The president of Mothers’ Voices Georgia, an Atlanta-based nonprofit that empowers women to improve the economic and health outcomes for women and children, Vickie Elisa developed Smart Women and Money, a grassroots financial education program for at-risk women. Elisa is also director of marketing and business development and public health accreditation coordinator for the DeKalb County Board of Health and served on the 2015 White House Conference on Aging’s panel, Planning for Financial Security at Every Age. Elisa is a community trainer for WISER, a Next Avenue content partner.
