FAQs

Your donation goes directly to funding the journalists who produce our work and the people and technology we use to deliver it to our audience. By supporting Next Avenue, you are helping keep the journalism you appreciate free and unbiased.

For more than five years, we have been largely supported through grants from foundations and the support of PBS. Like many other digital publishers, we have tried online sponsorship and advertising, but we were not always happy about the ads that showed up on our site. (Many of you weren’t either!) By supporting Next Avenue, you are helping keep the journalism you appreciate free and unbiased.

Next Avenue is produced by Twin Cities Public Television, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowable by law.

A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on this form. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes.

Your credit card information is considered completely confidential. We seek full compliance with the Data Security Standard as prescribed by the Payment Card Industry when credit card information is provided by phone or mail correspondence. All online transactions take place only on secure servers, and electronic communication of credit card information is sent only in a secured or encrypted format. You must be 18 years of age to engage in money-related transactions on TPT’s website and when utilizing a credit card to make a contribution. View our full privacy policy and terms of use.

In order to sustain our journalism, we’ve diversified how we receive revenue, and displaying third-party ads on nextavenue.org is one way we help finance our work — but ad revenue alone is not enough to keep our website running. We need your support.

Next Avenue is public media’s first and only national journalism service for America’s booming older population. Our daily content delivers vital ideas, context and perspectives on issues that matter most as we age.

That’s great! We’re happy you already support public media. While we’re part of PBS, we receive no support from your local PBS station and in fact, give them all of the content we create free of charge to use how they see fit.
