Judith S. Beck, Ph.D., is the president of the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, a nonprofit organization outside Philadelphia that trains mental health professionals. She is also Clinical Associate Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania, a founding fellow and past president of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and the author of The Beck Diet Solution: Train Your Brain to Think Like a Thin Person (book and workbook).
