Dr. Linda P. Fried, M.D., is dean of the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a leader in the fields of epidemiology and geriatrics. Fried opened the Columbia Center for Aging and also co-founded Experience Corps, a program that puts senior volunteers to work in public schools, and the Johns Hopkins Center on Aging and Health.
