Lynda McDonnell is a journalist, teacher and writer who lives in Minneapolis with her husband. After 30 years as a newspaper reporter and editor, she ran a youth journalism program targeted at minority and low-income teens for more than a decade. Now retired, she now spends her days reclaiming a writing life and not looking in mirrors. Her work has been published in The Washington Monthly, Wall Street Journal, Hudson Review, and elsewhere.
