As the CEO of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging, Sandy Markwood oversees a national network of 622 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs). These agencies serve as local leaders in aging and community living, providing services and support to older adults. Markwood has spent more than 30 years of her career being involved in the development and delivery of aging and human services.
