Vijay Vad, M.D., is a sports medicine specialist at the Hospital for Special Surgery and faculty member at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He is the author of Arthritis Rx: A Cutting-Edge Program for a Pain-Free Life and has hosted two PBS specials. The former physician for the professional men’s tennis tour, he is also the founder of the Vad Foundation dedicated to medical research and educating disadvantaged girls globally.
