About Advocates for Aging
Since 2015, Next Avenue has recognized leaders and organizations for their commitment to confronting challenges facing older adults and redefining what it means to age today.
"We have always selected forward-thinking individuals who are striving to make life better for all older adults, to empower them and to celebrate the perspectives they bring to life," said Julie Pfitzinger, managing editor of Next Avenue.
Formerly known as Influencers in Aging, Advocates for Aging honorees speak out about longevity, public policy, health care, caregiving and ageism and their voices have impact.
