Carrie Fisher Dead at Age 60
The beloved actress had been in London promoting her book
News broke on Friday that actress Carrie Fisher, 60, suffered an apparent heart attack while on a Los Angeles-bound United flight. CPR was performed and she was taken to an L.A.-area hospital.
Earlier this morning, Dec. 27, it was announced that Fisher passed away.
Fisher has been a recent outspoken critic of ageism in Hollywood.
