Today's show will focus on why sleep is so important for our health. It's another great one in our Fitness Friday series. We'll be hearing from returning guest, Sabrena Jo, director of science and research content for the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a nonprofit that sets fitness industry standards and provides certification for exercise professionals and health coaches.

Jo will share the science behind why sleep affects our ability to exercise and lose or maintain body weight. One interesting finding from this research: Just one night of sleep loss results in adverse body composition. That, of course, dear audience, is also known as getting fat.

This is no joking matter.

Additionally, with information from ACE, we'll offer five strategies for successful sleep.
