Deborah Kaplan Kovach

Deborah Kaplan Kovach, a native of Washington, D.C., is a retired health promotion teacher of stress management and smoking cessation programs for over 25 years. For the past nine years, she has worked as a volunteer for a local hospital's PFAC (Patient and Family Advisory Council), where her passions are working toward improving the health of special needs and elderly patients and the well-being of hospital staff.

Debbie's lifelong hobby is singing, and she also enjoys being in nature, decorating, and staying in touch with friends and family.
