In 1991, Jeff Salter opened the very first Caring Senior Service location and developed a business model that allowed resources to call 24-hours a day with the assurance that all caretakers were screened, qualified and providing exceptional care. Over the next several years, Salter opened up several locations across the state of Texas and made the decision to franchise the operation in 2001. Today, the business has grown to more than 50 locations in 18 states.
